Opendag Brandweer Leerdam

LEERDAM - Op zaterdag 2 juni heeft Brandweer Leerdam een opendag gehouden rondom haar kazerne aan de Koningin Emmalaan. Naast diverse demonstraties van het korps en de jeugdbrandweer was ook de nieuwe hoogwerker aanwezig. De nieuwe hoogwerker is een M.A.N. TGA 18.350 D20 met een Metz B32 hoogwerkerpakket, opgebouwd door de firma Algebra. Deze zal over enkele maanden, nadat de korpsleden instructie hebben gekregen over de bediening van het voertuig, in gebruik worden genomen. De huidige autoladder zal worden verkocht en gaat naar Antwerpen in België.
