Kerstbomenverbranding Sliedrecht 2006

SLIEDRECHT - Aan de Parabool in Sliedrecht is woensdagavond 4 januari de jaarlijkse kerstbomenverbranding gehouden. De kerstbomen konden overdag op diverse lokaties in Sliedrecht worden ingeleverd bij leden van de Jeugdbrandweer. Van de ingeleverde 1584  kerstbomen (slecht een paar minder dan vorig jaar) werd een grote berg gemaakt aan de Parabool en  vervolgens traditioneel om 19.00 uur in brand gestoken in het bijzijn van een groot aantal toeschouwers. Het afblussen gebeurde zoals gebruikelijk door de leden van de jeugdbrandweer.
